August 4, 2025Saint Agatha School is thrilled to announce the expansion of its Early Childhood program for the 2025–2026 school year. With enrollment steadily increasing, this growth marks a significant milestone in the school’s ongoing mission to provide students with a nurturing, academically strong, and faith-centered education.
To accommodate the rising number of young learners, Saint Agatha School is opening two new Early Childhood classrooms. This expansion allows the school to welcome more families into a vibrant, supportive learning environment that emphasizes both academic and personal growth. It’s a clear sign of the trust families place in the school’s values-based approach to education.“At Saint Agatha School, our Early Childhood program is thoughtfully designed to center around each child’s unique needs,” said Amy Chrisom, Assistant Principal and Director of Early Childhood. “With the support of the Peter Lynch Foundation, our curriculum is rooted in best practices that help children grow, academically, socially, and emotionally. As more families choose our program, it is a reflection of the trust they place in our nurturing, personalized approach to early learning.”
One of the key strengths of Saint Agatha School is its small class sizes, which ensure that each student receives personalized attention from dedicated educators. The preschool through Grade 8 setting supports children from the very start of their educational journey until they are prepared for high school. It also builds leadership, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging. Students often become mentors and role models, with opportunities to form meaningful friendships across grade levels.
In preparation for the expanded classrooms for our young learners, the school’s Early Childhood educators are participating in a three-day professional development session, sponsored by the Lynch Foundation. This training supports new and returning lead teachers and paraprofessionals, ensuring they are equipped with the latest tools and best practices in early education.
Saint Agatha School is also excited to introduce Spanish into its preschool curriculum. This addition will enrich the learning experience and broaden students’ horizons at an early age, supporting cognitive development and cultural awareness.
