Mrs. Magda Veira has been teaching Spanish to middle school students since joining our school in 2020. In 2024, she will also begin teaching Spanish to our elementary school students, bringing with her a wealth of experience from St. John Elementary School in Canton, MA. She is passionate about instilling in her students an appreciation for the language and its cultural significance. In her classroom, Professor Veira creates an engaging learning environment by incorporating games and songs into her lessons. She believes these interactive methods are the most effective ways for young learners to absorb and retain a new language. Outside of teaching, Professor Veira enjoys cooking Colombian dishes, spending quality time with her family, and staying active. Her interests include playing pickleball and ping pong, walking, reading, and listening to classical music. During the summer months, she loves camping and exploring different states.
